TaxiPass is the only national cab company:

Note: In some markets, taxis can not make prearranged pickups and in such cases 1-800-CAB-RIDE uses licensed black and town cars for service.
 

What if the city I need a pickup isn’t listed?

No Problem! 
If there is a need for taxi service in a city, TaxiPass will establish service in the area immediately.  We are in business to serve our customers.  Please call our 800-CAB-RIDE with the city needed and the number of rides that will be used.
 

How many vehicles do you have?

TaxiPass has a “Nationwide” network of affiliates that have over 20,000 vehicles (mostly taxis, but also black cars and sedans) available in the 25 major markets.

TaxiPass brings convenience, accountability, savings and national coverage
through one company, TaxiPass, and can be accessed by either 1-800-CAB-RIDE, online, through GDS or Travel Agency.  TaxiPass allows for this category of spend to now be managed, have a forecasted budget and the ability to pay by corporate credit card.
 

Why passengers like TaxiPass?

Passengers love TaxiPass because
it offers reserved rides with a personalized touch and pay for the ride with a credit card.  No hidden costs, assures most direct ride to destination and have the assurance that the ride will be in a clean, service oriented taxi.  Also, if luggage, or a personal item is left in the taxi, TaxiPass has the information to immediately to access and retrieve and contact the taxi the passenger rode in.
 

How do we pick our affiliates?

Each affiliate has been rigorously inspected to meet the highest standards possible and to be best in class with quality of cars, maintenance schedules, customer service oriented, training, and technology, but lowest in price.

What type of vehicle will pick me up?

Each market has different rules / cars. 
A typical taxi will pick you up most of the time.  When the taxi in the given market can’t perform an airport reservation, then TaxiPass contracts with a livery car town car operation to ensure complete coverage
 

What do passengers do when they have an airport pick up?

The passenger calls TaxiPass’ 1-800-CAB-RIDE
after landing (and getting any luggage) to notify of arrivals and to locate his/her taxi at airport (do not go to the taxi line). Cab then delivers passenger.
 

How do non airport pick up rides work?

The cab arrives
at the office/home/other location at an agreed upon time & delivers passenger.
 

How much does TaxiPass Cost vs. Cash Taxi Ride?

Because taxi drivers are held accountable
, the rider will receive the most direct route. TaxiPass’ assurance is that we will monitor our taxi affiliates and address excessive or questionable bill presented to ensure the passenger a relationship of integrity and best pricing.  Because we have a pre-negotiate price with our affiliate, and we include a preset tip taxes and additional fees, companies will see on the average a 10%-15% savings.

If company/agency is not 1-800-CAB-RIDE enabled,
please call TaxiPass’ customer service line to open the account or handle enquiring questions.
 

What are the passenger’s responsibilities?

Passenger is responsible
for giving pickup, destination, and credit card info to dispatcher
 

What does ‘Flat Rate’ pricing include?

All TaxiPass rides
(up to 4 people) are fixed priced, are based on pick-up/drop-off point, and includes: meter + toll + tip + extras + airport fees + gas surcharges + taxes + other fees
 

How are Tips and Fees handled?

TaxiPass tips and fees are blended in the flat price for the cab ride
and vary by location and distance

How do I pay?

Payment is made by card or direct-billed account.
Charges occur at day of reservation
 

How do I get a Receipt?

The passenger will receive an email confirming the ride and an email invoice for the amount. 
All the passenger needs to do is sign an internal taxi paperwork confirming ride was completed.
 

Are Vouchers needed?

No. All the passenger needs to know is to call TaxiPass’ 1-800-CAB-RIDE number when landing, or if there any changes, problems, or questions.  At the ride’s end though the passenger signs a receipt
 

What is our “6-Hour Notice Policy”?

Minimum 6-hour notice from reservation is necessary to book, change, or cancel ride electronically. Only use 1-800-CAB-RIDE for bookings, changes & cancellations within 6-hours of reservation.

What happens if there is a flight delay?

Airport rides are “Will Call” reservations, so cab is only dispatched after passenger’s arrival.
 

What if the meter says something different than what I paid?

A difference between the meter and the actual cost of the ride is to be expected.  Our price is an all inclusive price which includes is a combined total that includes the meter, tolls, tips and miscellaneous charges.  It is important to note that sometimes the meter will be more than what is paid. TaxiPass monitors all rides and drivers to assure that each paying passenger receives the best price and service possible.  Please contact customer service at 1-800-CAB-RIDE if pricing is of question.
 

What is our “Stops/Waiting” policy?

No stops included.  5 minute waiting time grace period or else ride is cancelled
 

Change / Cancellation Policy?

Minimum 6-hour notice from reservation is necessary to book, change, or cancel ride electronically. Only use 1-800-CAB-RIDE for bookings, changes & cancellations within 6-hours of reservation.

Problems?

Passenger calls TaxiPass’ 1-800-CAB-RIDE for any problems with their cab ride. The call will be routed to customer service department
